BlackSmithProducts Ltd Terms + Conditions of Sale Refunds + Exchange Policy (Guarantee)
You are covered by a 30-day money back guarantee upon receipt of the day you purchased your product (s). You may return your product (s) for a refund or exchange if… · The product is returned in its original, unused and sellable packaging. · The product / products is returned within the guarantee time limit. · Proof of purchase is given (e.g. receipt). · Not used in any way or form · All ‘Free’ Products are returned You must also agree that… · If paid by card, the refund total will be sent back to the card that was used to pay for the goods/services. · Money will be refunded in Pounds Sterling only. · Not to return goods without contact us first. If there is a mechanical or technical fault then you must contact BlackSmithProducts before returning your product (s). We will be willing to offer a replacement (exchange) or parts to repair the product (s). We will not offer you this if the product is used in any way. You must inform us beforehand if your product looks used, we will not accept anything otherwise. You may exchange the product with BlackSmithProducts Ltd once only. After this, the product will not be exchanged for another, but will be subject to a refund (please note this paragraph does not take priority over any other part of this document that interferes with it. All other terms will take priority).
Under no circumstances is the delivery fee refunded for posting to you or for you posting something back to us unless agreed beforehand (written). If a product was sent to you by mistake or was not what you ordered then we will be happy to offer the option of having the delivery fees refunded, but this will only occur if the product was sent in fault by ourselves and not of the customer. If a product is deemed faulty and a request is submitted in writing for a postal refund, then only up to £10 of the postal refund will be issued. If a product is returned with obvious signs of use (ie. dirt of wheels etc) then a refurbishment fee of £15.00 - £45.00 will be charged plus any costs for any parts required to repair the item. If you order a nitro model as soon as you put fuel into the fuel tank, pipes or enters the carburettor your guarantee will be void. For more information please see the quality guarantee information slip provided with your model. We will no longer accept the model back; only if the engine has a fault may you send the engine back for repairs. The guarantee slip provided and its terms will take priority over the terms outlined in this document.
Payment Methods
BlackSmithProducts Ltd accepts the following payments which have the following Terms + Conditions… · Credit Card payments: The cardholder must make the Credit card payment. Payment from a card that does not belong to the current cardholder will not be accepted. · Cheque: Orders will be despatched after the cheque has cleared. This can take up to 5 to 7 days. · Cash: Cash payments will be accepted by the cashier if it does not inflict with any other part of the terms + conditions. Payment is accepted in Pounds Sterling (UK currency) only. Payment will not be accepted in any other currency unless agreed by the Cashier.

Delivery and Dispatch + International Orders
Product (s) purchased from outside the United Kingdom are subject to a delivery charge. Products will not be delivered Free to anyone outside of the U.K. Please contact us before placing your order so we can discuss delivery costs and methods. Orders purchased inside the UK may qualify for Free Delivery if stated. Orders will be despatched by next day. Orders through our website will be subject to a £2 handling charge for any amount you order. ‘48 hour Guaranteed Delivery’ isn’t Guaranteed if the following happen; - If the despatch company has problems getting to your address. - International delivery isn’t guaranteed. - Non-Working Days Security and Protection
Your details are protected by the ‘Data Protection Act’ and will only be used to complete this transaction and not for any other purpose. All e-mails are printed out and filed for records and security. All credit / debit or payment information is destroyed straight after use for security reasons. The website has a SSL5 security certificate which is the highest form of security a website can have. All staff at BlackSmithProducts treats everyone equally; these terms apply to all that purchase from BlackSmithProducts Limited. Do not expect anything different from what you see here. If you do not bother to read these terms then this is your problem and you will be dealt with as outlined here and no different. Failure to comply will result in the product being returned to you (if you sent it back) and you will be added to the blacklist. Your Guarantee – You Must Read the Following before You Use Your Product
As soon as you begin to use the car properly (i.e. wheels on the ground or 'general wear and tear' or used marks clearly shown on the product) your guarantee for the product is no longer valid. It is your responsibility before you use the product properly to ensure that all equipment is working properly and no problems are occurring. If you disagree with anything shown here, then you must not use the product and contact us first, as soon as one of the conditions outlined here or on the terms are met with regards to ‘use’ you are confirming you agree to all conditions. What does Your 30 Day Guarantee Cover? You may return your product within 30 days if the following conditions are met; however if any of the following conditions are not met then the guarantee is void and you cannot return your product. · Product is not used (not been taken out of packaging, no fuel has entered tank etc). · Delivery Fees will not be refunded (either way) · Proof of purchase is given and you have contacted us first · All ‘Free’ Products returned · All Packaging returned What to check as soon as you receive your product? You must check the following as soon as possible (within 3 days of receiving your product): · No broken parts and car is received in standard generally expected (new condition etc). · Glow Starter is working (see guide to check this) · Engine has good compression (checked before sent out) · All electrics are working (includes servos, receivers, transmitter etc). · Check the transmitter has a range over 60 feet · Servos twitch when switched on and respond to transmitter If the above is not checked, then please do not expect parts to be sent out after 3 days of receiving your product for replacement. It is your responsibility to ensure there are no faults. Can I return a used product within 30 days? Once used the product cannot be returned within 30 days. If you do however return a product within 30 days, then you will be refunded the product cost minus the refurbishment fee (£15 to £45 depending on its condition and the original price of the car) and minus any parts required for any damages, packaging or missing items. Engine Warranty? You are protected by a 90-day engine and radio warranty against internal faulty parts, this means if a conrod snaps (for example) then we will send a replacement for this part. To claim under the warranty, we will require either the original part back or picture of the part broken and proof of purchase. This warranty does not cover accidental damages. This warranty does not cover the pull starter or the carburettor or any other electric parts. If you require a replacement you will need to purchase. Please understand you cannot return the car itself or the engine under the engine warranty due to you being unable to start or reasons like this. The engine warranty is for the engine internal parts alone only. Does these terms affect my Legal Rights? The UK Law is the applicable law. All BlackSmithProducts Ltd terms and conditions are within the guidelines set down by the ‘sales of goods act’ and ‘trading standards.’ If you have any queries then you must contact us first, if you disagree then do not use the product and return to us, but please be aware of the above information first. Complaining about your legal rights after you have used the product is not acceptable and you will be treated as outlined above.
